Sewer & Water Line Services in James City County, VA

In James City County, VA, many older homes still have lead water lines and Orangeburg sewer lines that have been in the ground for decades. Incredibly thankful to A1, Brandon and his co-worker. We had the misfortune of my fiancées engagement ring fall into our toilet while it was flushing (worst place at the worst time). Brandon came out the same day earlier then scheduled to have a look, he put a camera down the pipe and thankfully was able to find it. They gave fantastic suggestions to retrieve it and with a little elbow grease we were able to recover it. They were super professional, personable and worked quickly to try to find it. Again, very thankful and hope you choose to use them for any plumbing issues you have.

Causes of Sewer & Water Line Problems in James City County, VA

James City County’s combination of clay-heavy and sandy soils creates constant underground movement, which can stress buried lines. Over time, lead water pipes can corrode or leach harmful metals into the water supply, creating serious health risks for your household, especially for children and pregnant women. Meanwhile, Orangeburg sewer lines can crack or collapse under soil pressure and root intrusion, leading to leaks. Preventive maintenance protects your home and your family’s health.

Keep in mind that anything within your property boundary is the homeowner’s responsibility, while the county maintains public lines beyond that point.

FAQs
